Alhamdulillah, many exciting programs and events have been organized by JAZRO throughout November 2023✨ 🥳
Now, let's look at our progress & update for November 2023 🚀🚀🚀
✅ A total of 3,153 new students have registered for our programs (the total accumulated students in our database has increased to 41,657 students).
✅ Continue to conduct Robotic Demonstration, Bengkel Asas Robotik & Robotic Outreach Programme (ROP) at schools in East and Central Region, hosted an event to show our solidarity to Palestine 🇵🇸 and took part as exhibitors during Malaysia Techlympics Final @ PICC Putrajaya 👏🏻
✅ Organized robotic activities for Petronita's Children's Day event in conjunction with International Children's Day 🤩
Below are the key highlights for November 2023:-
1️⃣ PERTANDINGAN BOLA SEPAK ROBOTIK 'ROBOBLITZ'
Pertandingan Bola Sepak Robotik 'Roboblitz' is a collaborative program between Pearl Point Shopping Mall and JAZRO. It stands as the largest robosoccer competition in Malaysia, boasting a record-breaking 1,057 participants 😱 This event is officially recognized and recorded in Malaysia's Book of Records 🥳
This 3-days competition received participation from schools all over Malaysia and they competed to win the trophy 🏆 This competition also included coding and non-coding competition for kindergarten, primary and secondary students. Visitors of the mall who wish to participate with their families also can join the Family Game category 🤩 This event recorded a total of 1,300++ participants who participated in all categories 🥳😱
Alhamdulillah, this is another milestone for JAZRO 🤗 We are working towards our plan to host our JAZRO Cup next year 🦾 May everything be eased, insya Allah.
2️⃣ TRAINING OF TRAINERS JOHOR YOUNGSTER CODING PROGRAMME
Alhamdulillah, JAZRO has been entrusted to be the executor for Johor Youngster Coding Programme, a technology development programme under Sumber Sektor Teknologi Pendidikan, Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Johor 🤩 With an aim to build 60 Digital MakerHub (DMH) in schools all over Johor, we started the programme with Training of Trainers for teachers and educators 👩🏻🏫
A total of 77 teachers and educators participated in this workshop that was held at V8 Hotel, Skudai for 3 days and 2 nights. During this workshop, the participants learned to code using Scratch and the basic knowledge of Mbot version 1 🤖 This knowledge later will be transferred to their students at their respective schools 🖥 We have also received a visitation from YB Cik Norlizah binti Noh, Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pendidikan, Penerangan dan Komunikasi Negeri Johor.
We are deeply grateful for the continuous support and prayers for our success. Insya Allah, more DMH will be created in the future to ensure our younger generations will get ample knowledge in robotics and technology 🚀
3️⃣ ADVANCE INTEGRATED NILAM SYSTEM (AINS) HANDOVER CEREMONY
JAZRO officially handover the Advance Integrated Nilam System (AINS) to Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM) on 16th of November 2023 🥰 This ceremony was officiated by YBhg. Dato' Ts. Dr. Haji Aminuddin bin Hashim, MOSTI's chief secretary.
AINS will be widely used by school students in Malaysia to record their reading for NILAM. This system was created to ease the students and teachers of the NILAM records. A pilot programme was done in schools prior to the handover and Alhamdulillah, the feedback was positive and a minor update was made to cater for the needs of the students and teachers.
Insya Allah, more education systems will be built by JAZRO 🦾 We aspire to be one of the pioneers in e-education, especially in technology and robotics in the future 🚀 We will create our own path and may it inspire others to follow 🤝
4️⃣ FUNDRAISING CO-FOUNDER ROUND (SEED 2)
