Alhamdulillah, we are now at the end of 2023! JAZRO has organized many exciting programs and events throughout December 2023✨🥳
Now, let's look at our progress & update for December 2023 🚀🚀🚀
✅ A total of 779 new students have registered for our programs (the total accumulated students in our database has increased to 42,436 students).
✅ Continue to conduct Karnival Robotik Jazro, Bengkel Asas Robotik & Robotic Outreach Programme (ROP) at schools in East and Central Region to spread more knowledge of robotic education to the community👏🏻
✅ Participated in MakeX Robotics World Championship 2023 @ China and our Jazarians, Muhammad Afiq Zharfan placed 28th over 480 participants! 🤩
Below are the key highlights for December 2023:-
1️⃣ MINI ROBOTIC CARNIVAL @ D'PULZE SHOPPING MALL
Alhamdulillah, JAZRO recently organized a Mini Robotic Carnival at D'Pulze Shopping Mall in Cyberjaya, Selangor 🎪 The event was a result of an invitation extended by the mall's management, showcasing JAZRO's commitment to promoting coding and robotics education among the local community, particularly the young generation 🦾
The 2-day Robotic Carnival garnered an enthusiastic response, with 150+ registrations from participants of various backgrounds and ages 😱 The primary goal of the event was to raise awareness about the significance of early-age learning in coding and robotics while indirectly contributing to the promotion of D'Pulze Shopping Centre 🥰 The carnival featured a range of exciting activities and competitions, including Robot War Escape, Labyrinth Challenge, and Crash the Castle 🥳 These engaging and competitive events not only entertained the attendees but also provided an interactive platform for learning and skill development.
The success of this Mini Robotic Carnival has positioned JAZRO with a positive momentum. The organization is now considering potential collaborations with other malls in Selangor to organize similar events in the future. With the hope that such initiatives will continue to encourage interest and participation in coding and robotics education, JAZRO aims to play a pivotal role in shaping the technological skills of the younger generation 🚀
2️⃣ JAZRO X UPSI KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE PROGRAM
The JAZRO x UPSI Knowledge Exchange was a collaborative program held at UPSI (Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris), bringing together tutors from JAZRO and students from UPSI 🤝 The primary objective of this initiative was to serve as a platform for tutors to share their expertise in teaching students with autism. JAZRO, with a dedicated commitment to improving the methods of educating special needs students, played a key role in facilitating this knowledge exchange 👩🏻🏫
During the program, tutors from JAZRO engaged with the students from UPSI, providing insights, strategies, and practical approaches related to teaching individuals with autism. The emphasis was on enhancing the effectiveness of teaching methods and fostering a better understanding of the unique needs of students with autism. One notable outcome of the program was the mutual learning experience for both tutors and students, creating an environment that encouraged collaboration and the exchange of innovative ideas. The initiative aimed to contribute to the broader goal of improving the overall quality of education for students with special needs.
InsyaAllah JAZRO is looking forward to establishing an entity solely focused on the learning processes of students with special needs. This suggested a long-term commitment of JAZRO to advancing educational practices for individuals with autism in shaping the future of special education 🦾
3️⃣ ROBO-YAY CODING BOOTCAMP
JAZRO recently organized the highly anticipated Robo-Yay Coding Bootcamp during the school holiday season 🥳 This comprehensive program, conducted both physically and virtually, covered multiple locations, including Terengganu, Selangor, and Melaka. The initiative attracted an impressive turnout, with 130+ registered participants hailing from various regions across Malaysia.
One notable highlight of the Robo-Yay Coding Bootcamp was hosted at AirAsia Academy, marking a significant collaboration between AirAsia Academy and JAZRO. The partnership aimed to collectively contribute to the shared objective of enhancing digital literacy among the younger generation 🚀 Throughout the program, participants were immersed in learning both theoretical and hands-on aspects of robotics and coding modules. Certified Robotic Tutors from JAZRO guided the students through engaging activities, ensuring a holistic understanding of the subjects. By providing a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application, the boot camp aimed to equip participants with skills that extend beyond the classroom setting 🤖
The positive response from the participants reinforced JAZRO's commitment to advancing digital literacy and education 🤩 The acquired knowledge and skills from the Robo-Yay Coding Bootcamp are expected to empower students to apply their learning in real-world scenarios, laying the foundation for their future endeavours in the rapidly evolving field of robotics and coding 🦾🦾
