Happy New Year 2024 everyone! 🎉 Alhamdulillah, many exciting programs and events have been organized by JAZRO throughout January 2024 ✨ 🥳
Now, let's look at our progress & update for January 2024 🚀🚀🚀
✅ A total of 1,245 new students have registered for our programs (the total accumulated students in our database has increased to 43,681 students).
✅ Continue to conduct Karnival Robotik Jazro, Robotic Demonstration & Robotic Outreach Programme (ROP) at schools in East and Central Region to spread more knowledge of robotic education to the community👏🏻
✅ Organized Jazro Soccer League - MTM Special for students from Maahad Tahfiz Mutiara in Kerteh with 30 students participated in this league 🤩
Below are the key highlights for January 2024:-
1️⃣ ROBOMASTER INTERNATIONAL GAME 2024
The Robomaster International Game 2024 held in Hong Kong marked a significant milestone for the Malaysian robotics community 🤩 With representatives from Malaysia under the collaborative efforts of JAZRO and DJI Malaysia, the event showcased cutting-edge technology and innovation in the field of robotics. This international competition brought together teams from around the world to demonstrate their skills in creating and operating advanced robotic systems 🦾
The Malaysian delegation, comprised of four talented individuals, participated in Group C and demonstrated exceptional skills and teamwork throughout the competition. Their collaboration under the banner of JAZRO and DJI Malaysia proved to be a formidable force, leading them to achieve the prestigious title of Group 1st Runner-Up in their debut appearance at the Robomaster International Game 👏🏻🥳 This success marked a historic moment for Team Malaysia, as they secured their first victory on the international stage.
For the upcoming JAZRO Cup, JAZRO will implement similar elements, inspired by the advanced arena setup during the Robomaster International Game 2024 🤗 This move not only signifies the desire to raise the bar within the Malaysian robotics community but also demonstrates the importance of adopting and adapting cutting-edge technology and methodologies from global competitions 🤖
2️⃣ TECHNOPRENEUR NETWORKING DAY
JAZRO is honoured to be the host for BNI Primera Power Team Technopreneur Networking Day 🤩 It was held at the prestigious JAZRO Academy in DMH Cyberjaya, and was an event that brought together founders and business owners. The event was particularly special as it was held in collaboration with the BNI Primera Power Team, signifying a convergence of expertise and networking prowess within the technopreneur space 🤝
This occasion served as a platform for entrepreneurs hailing from various backgrounds and industries to come together and share invaluable insights into their business journeys and success stories. Attendees were treated to a wealth of knowledge as founders and business owners provided practical tips, strategies, and lessons learned from their experiences, offering a unique and enriching perspective on the challenges and triumphs within the dynamic realm of technology entrepreneurship 📊
Technopreneur Networking Day emerged as more than just a one-time event; it became a vital medium for entrepreneurs within the technology sector to establish and nurture valuable connections. These connections, forged during the event, were seen as potential avenues for collaboration, business growth, and the exchange of innovative ideas with JAZRO Insya-Allah 🚀
3️⃣ PERTANDINGAN INOVASI SAINS TEKNOLOGI dan KEJURUTERAAN (PISTEK)
JAZRO has been invited to be one of the exhibitors during Pertandingan Inovasi Sains, Teknologi dan Kejuruteraan (PISTEK) 2023/3034. This competition was organized by Sport, Co-curriculum & Arts Division, the Ministry of Education. The event was officiated by En. Zainuren Mohd Nor, Director of Sport, Co-curriculum & Arts, Ministry of Education 😍
Excited visitors can be seen during the Robosoccer session at our booth 🤩 Parents, teachers and students were eager to learn more about JAZRO and the classes we offer. InsyaAllah, more programmes and classes will be organised in collaboration with other educational institutions 🤲🏻
4️⃣ JAZRO ONLINE GAME
JAZRO has organized an Online Game which captivated the enthusiasm of 30+ participants across three exciting categories, Kahoot Extravaganza, Drone Flight School (Primary), and the Advanced Drone Piloting Challenge (Secondary)
In the Kahoot Extravaganza, the game format brought an element of excitement as participants engaged in the Kahoot virtual quiz, competing against each other to demonstrate their knowledge and quick thinking of general knowledge. The Drone Flight School (Primary) category provided an opportunity for younger participants to experience the thrill of piloting drones. The challenge emphasized basic drone piloting skills, introducing participants to the fascinating world of aerial technology in a fun and educational manner.
For the older participants, the Advanced Drone Piloting Challenge (Secondary) presented a more complex and intricate set of challenges. This category sought to push the boundaries of drone piloting skills, testing precision, control, and strategic decision-making. The winners of these categories brought home prizes such as JAZSTEM Stem Kits, Solar Car Kits, KEMBARA UMT STEM Books, and Scratch 3.0 Books.
Throughout the JAZRO Online Game, participants were not only competing but also focusing on the challenges presented to them. The event acted as a source of inspiration, encouraging participants to continue exploring and learning in the field of STEM. Insya-Allah, Online Games will be a frequent event for JAZRO.
5️⃣ KARNIVAL ROBOTIK JAZRO
Karnival Robotik, proudly organized by JAZRO, took the stage across three separate locations: JAZRO Academy at Kuala Terengganu, JAZRO Academy at Cyberjaya, and KYS KL East International School. A total of 80+ joined the carnivals, creating an exciting and interactive platform for individuals to delve into the world of robotics and coding 🥳
Participants immersed themselves in a learning experience that covered the basics of robotics, with a focus on Mbot and the coding program, Scratch 🖥 The participants also engaged in physical activities such as Robosoccer and Push the Block 🎮 These entertaining challenges not only provided an opportunity for friendly competition but also served as a fun and engaging way to apply the principles learned during the programme.
JAZRO is committed to raising awareness among parents about the significance of teaching younger generations about robotics and coding 🤖 As these skills become increasingly essential in today's technologically advanced world, Karnival Robotik JAZRO sought to underline the importance of preparing the youth for future opportunities and challenges through early exposure to these STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines 💥
