Alhamdulillah, December 2022 filled a lot of exciting programs and events with JAZRO 🥳
Now, let's look at our progress & update for November 2022 🚀🚀🚀
✅ A total of 467 new students have registered for our programs (the total accumulated students in our database has increased to 32,290 students).
✅ We won the MyHackathon 2022 Cohort 2 Competition
✅ We successfully conducted the Tech-Genius Road Tour across Malaysia
✅ We succeeded conducted Jazro Booths in various venues such as the PSKT, Kerteh & Kuantan Public Library
✅ JAZRO Robotic Tutor TOT classes was successfully completed with Students from Universiti Teknologi Melaka (UTeM)
Below are the key highlights for December 2022:-
1️⃣ Winner of MYHackathon 2022 Cohort 2 Competition
MYHackathon is Malaysia’s national scale hackathon involving not only technopreneurs, innovators and subject matter experts but also concerned Malaysians from all walks of life, to come together to co-create digital solutions that will help improve the delivery of key government services. MYHackathon Cohort 2 required the participants to solve a problem from Ministry of Education (MOE) in tackling reading system among school students via mobile application development. We strive to contribute to society and to secure our younger generations' future in this digitalization era 🧑🏼💻
After countless brainstorming and discussion sessions for the ideas, Alhamdulillah, JAZRO has been awarded as the Winner for MyHackthon 2022 Cohort 2 & JAZRO received a grant valued at RM 250,000 to execute the PILOT project with MOE. 🦾🥳
1️⃣ Botley TOT Program for Robotics Kindergarten
JAZRO has been generously spreading its expertise in Kindergartedn level to the kindergarten teachers. We had conducted several Train of Trainer (TOT) with a few kindergarted centers to give better understanding & certified the teachers. All of them will get a certification & can conduct robotics class for their students 🎓
The aim of this program is to spread awareness by expose Botley to kindergartners in a more effective method, which is by passing the knowledge to the teachers so that it can be distributed to kindergarters in a more suitable and professional manner fitting for the kindergartners 🧠☀️
2️⃣ ROAD TOUR TECH-GENIUS ACROSS MALAYSIA
For the whole month of December, JAZRO is proud to have committed in spreading the knowledge of robotic across Malaysia, this time by traveling across the regions, from within the east coast, to the central area of Malaysia and even reaching the west coast! 🛣
Our tour started from Gong Badak, to transversing various areas in Terengganu, taking us to Kuantan, to the domain of Selangor before ending it brilliantly in Melaka 🚌
The goal is to expose the importance of robotic to the public, to make sure that our community is aware the key role of robotics knowledge in facing I.R 4.0🧑💻
Alhamdulillah, the mind expanding tour successfully attracted the participation of 200+ future innovators ✨
3️⃣ JAZRO BOOTH IN PUBLIC PLACES
As always, JAZRO Booths stood tall even during the tour, with our members visiting location such as Pusat Sains & Kreativiti Terengganu (PKST) and the Perpustakaan Awam Kerteh to spread the beauty and importance of robotic to the local community 🧠⚡️
4️⃣ CERTIFIED ROBOTIC TUTOR (TOT) @ UTeM, Melaka
In a further attempt to expand the spreading of the robotic knowledge, JAZRO paid a visit to the intellects of UTeM, Melaka 🚌
The idea is to train the students of UTeM in the art of robotic education, with the plan of inviting them to our future programs so they may assist us in educating others in robotic 🦾
Not to mention, providing them the opportunity to make a side income as a tutor for I.R 4.0 🤩
5️⃣ FUNDRAISING CO-FOUNDER ROUND (SEED 2)
Worth to mention, our Fund-Raising for Co-Founder Round Seed 2 (Phase 2) has been closed. We will start our Phase 3 in 2023. Kindly PM me for further details about this. We are on track as per our planned roadmap Insya Allah & don't miss the chance 😉
