Alhamdulillah, we are now halfway through 2022! Many exciting programs and events have been organized by JAZRO throughout May ✨
Now let's look at our update for May 2022 up until now 🤗
We would like to update on JAZRO TECHNOLOGY current progress & activities 🚀🚀🚀
✅ A total of 2,578 new students had joined our programs (total accumulated students in our database has increased to 15,972 students)
✅ Successfully conducted 16 programs including 2 physical workshops in Paka & Kuala Terengganu, 8 virtual & physical workshop with intriguing topics, 2 Train of Trainers (ToT) session and 2 online competition including our PAJSK program, 1 NGO program and 1 Robotic Carnival 😎
✅ Our monthly PAJSK program, Junior Designer competition received more than 1000 participation from all over Malaysia. The participants are required to design Teachers' Day wish card using Canva and the most creative and interactive wish card will be chosen as the winner 🥳
✅ Organized do your:bit for #FutureTechTalents 2022, a collaboration with Persatuan Pembangunan Komuniti Sains dan Teknologi Terengganu and more than 650 participants registered for this program😲
Below are the key highlights for MAY 2022:-
1️⃣ ROBOTIC COMPETITION FOR AUTISM
For the very first time, JAZRO has organized a Robotic Competition for Autism 🤖 This physical competition was held at JAZRO Robotic Academy in Kuala Terengganu and 4 autistic students bravely took part 🦾
This competition aimed to encourage the application of robotic knowledge among the autistic students. Alhamdulillah, we achieved the aim of the program and the students were very happy to be part of this competition 🥳 InsyaAllah, more similar competition will be organized after this 🤩
2️⃣ KARNIVAL ROBOTIK SK FELDA KOTA GELANGGI 1, JERANTUT, PAHANG
It was also our first time to organize a robotic carnival in rural area 🎉 A total of 195 students from SK Felda Kota Gelanggi 1, Jerantut joined in this carnival 😱
We hope this will be a stepping stone for JAZRO to expose the robotic knowledge to younger generations, especially in rural areas as our main focus is to reduce the digital literacy gap in East Coast region 🦾
3️⃣ TRAIN OF TRAINERS (TOT) LITTLE JAZARI
Alhamdulillah, we are happy to inform that JAZRO's Little Jazari program is getting more demand from kindergarten in East Coast Malaysia 🎊
In May, 2 Train of Trainers (TOT) for Little Jazari have been conducted in two differents sessions in Kuantan and Temerloh, Pahang 👏🏻 A total of 8 excellent teachers took part in this training 🥳
We applaud the teachers who take the initiative to expose robotic and coding knowledge to their young students as the passion need to be train at young age 🦾
4️⃣ VISIT FROM LIBRARY, UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA KELANTAN (UMK) TO JAZRO, K.TERENGGANU
Alhamdulillah we are happy to receive delegates from Library UMK from Kota Bharu. We are excited on our planning to organize a collaboration program at UMK in June 2022 😱
We will have 'Karnival Robotik @UMK' special for school students in Kelantan. Insya Allah we will start our weekly robotics class after that. See you in Kelantan 🥳
5️⃣ 3M STEM Peers Coaching UNISZA
Completing our Majestic May, JAZRO has collaborated with National STEM Association (NSA) to build and roll out STEM Robotic Module 🔥
JAZRO has trained 15 mentees from UNISZA about our robotic modules 🤖 These mentees will go to schools and teach the students modules they have learned throughout the program.
We are very honored to be part of this glorious project. May our sharing will be a catalyst to a better generation in STEM 🥰
6️⃣ FUNDRAISING CO-FOUNDER ROUND (SEED 2)
Worth to mention, our Fund Raising Co-Founder Round Seed 2 (Phase 2) is still on-going. Kindly PM me for further details about this. We are on track as per our planned roadmap Insya Allah & don't miss the chance 😉
