Below are the key highlights for June 2026:-
1️⃣ JAZRO CUP 2026 (EAST COAST, CENTRAL & NORTHERN)
Jazro Cup 2026 successfully concluded its East Coast, Central and Northern editions, marking another exciting milestone in Malaysia's growing robotics and coding education landscape 🤩 The nationwide tour kicked off in Terengganu for the East Coast region before continuing to Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya for the Central region and Pulau Pinang for the Northern region. Now in its second edition, Jazro Cup continues to grow following the overwhelming success of its inaugural competition last year 🦾

This year's competition is bigger and more exciting than ever, expanding from 6 categories in 2025 to 10 categories in 2026, comprising 6 physical competition categories and 4 online categories. The physical categories featured four non-coding challenges—🤖 Robot Combat, ♻️ Re-Bot Green Crafters, 🚁 Game of Drone Mission, and the ever-popular ⚽️ Robosoccer "RoboBlitz"—alongside two coding categories, 💻 BlazeBot and 🤖 ByteDroid, allowing students of various skill levels to showcase their creativity, technical knowledge, and problem-solving abilities.

The three regional competitions attracted over 1.3k participants 😱, demonstrating the growing enthusiasm for STEM, robotics, and coding among Malaysian students. The atmosphere throughout the events was truly lively, with participants giving their best performances while parents, teachers, and supporters filled the venues with loud cheers and encouragement, creating an unforgettable competition experience 🙌

The Jazro Cup 2026 roadshow will continue its journey to Sabah and the Southern region this July, completing the nationwide tour before bringing together the very best teams from every region ✈️ All regional champions will earn the opportunity to compete in the prestigious Jazro Cup 2026 Finale, which will be held at Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS) this August, where Malaysia's finest young robotics talents will battle for the national championship 🇲🇾 Please pray for the competition to run smoothly and become another success 🏆

2️⃣ AINS ROAD TOUR
The Advanced Integrated NILAM System (AINS) continued its nationwide expansion as Head of Jazro, Ir. Dzulfarqeish embarked on a tour across Malaysia to engage with Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri (JPN) in every state. The roadshow aimed to introduce and demonstrate the latest features of AINS, while providing education officers with a comprehensive briefing on how the platform can enhance the management and monitoring of the NILAM programme within their respective states 🤗
The enhanced AINS platform enables teachers and education officers to efficiently monitor students' reading records, analyse participation trends, and oversee school- and state-level reading performance through a centralised digital system🖥These new features are designed to simplify administrative processes, improve reporting accuracy, and support data-driven decision-making in promoting reading habits among students 📖
Throughout the nationwide engagement sessions, valuable suggestions, feedback, and insights were gathered from JPN representatives, school administrators, and educators 📊 These constructive discussions have played an important role in refining the platform, ensuring that AINS continues to evolve in line with the practical needs of schools and education authorities. To further support implementation, Jazro also organised a series of online briefings and training sessions, allowing teachers across Malaysia to ask questions and gain a better understanding of how to manage and utilise the application effectively 🦾
Through continuous collaboration with the Ministry of Education ecosystem and educators nationwide, AINS reflects Jazro's commitment to driving digital transformation in education by providing an innovative, user-friendly platform that empowers schools to cultivate a stronger reading culture and streamline the management of the NILAM programme across Malaysia 🚀
3️⃣ MINI MAKE X EAST COAST & CENTRAL REGION
The Mini MakeX Competition 2026 completed its East Coast and Central regional rounds, providing young robotics enthusiasts with an exciting platform to demonstrate their creativity, engineering skills and problem-solving abilities 🦾 The competition tour began in Terengganu before continuing to Putrajaya, bringing together a total of 18 participants from both regions to compete in the Inspire Smart Logistics category 🔧

Throughout the competition, participants were challenged to design, programme and operate their robots to complete logistics-based missions, encouraging innovation, teamwork and critical thinking while applying STEM knowledge in a real-world competition environment 🤖 The event also served as a valuable opportunity for students to gain competitive experience and prepare themselves for higher-level robotics challenges ⚙️

The Mini MakeX journey will continue in Sabah, Sarawak, and the Southern region in July, completing the nationwide qualifying rounds 🌎 The top three winners from each regional competition will earn their place at the Mini MakeX Finale, which will be held at Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS) on 20 August 2026 🤩

The national finale promises to be an exciting showdown as Malaysia's best young robotics teams compete for the championship title 🏆. The overall champion will receive the opportunity to represent Malaysia at the Mini MakeX Competition in Bangkok, Thailand, with a fully sponsored participation package, providing an invaluable international platform to showcase their talents and compete with participants from across the region. 🇲🇾✈️🇹🇭
4️⃣ INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMING ROBOT CHALLENGE (IPRC) BRIEFING SESSION
Jazro successfully organised a Briefing Session for the International Programming Robot Challenge (IPRC) as part of its initiative to prepare and lead the Malaysian delegation to the prestigious international robotics competition 🤖 During the session, Certified Robotic Tutor, Ms. Aimi, together with Head of Jazro, Ir. Dzulfarqeish, provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the competition, which will be held at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul, Republic of Korea, this August.

Ms. Aimi guided participants through the competition structure and categories, technical requirements and participation criteria, as well as the evaluation format and important competition dates, ensuring that prospective competitors gained a clear understanding of the competition expectations and preparation process 📑 The briefing aimed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and confidence to represent Malaysia on the international stage 🌏
The session concluded with an interactive Question & Answer (Q&A) segment 🙋🏻♂️❓, where participants had the opportunity to seek clarification on various aspects of the competition. The enthusiastic response and active participation reflected the growing interest among Malaysian students in international robotics and programming competitions, with many expressing their intention to take part in this exciting opportunity 🤩

Jazro warmly invites aspiring young innovators to register for the International Programming Robot Challenge (IPRC) and seize the opportunity to compete alongside talented participants from around the world 🦾🌎 We wish all Malaysian participants the very best as they prepare for the competition.
