Alhamdulillah, many exciting programs and events have been organized by JAZRO throughout February 2025 ✨ 🥳

Now, let's look at our progress & update for February 2025 🚀🚀🚀

✅ A total of 739 new students have registered for our programs (the total accumulated students in our database has increased to 77,263 students) 👏🏻

✅ Continue to conduct Virtual Trial Robocode, organized Bengkel Asas Drone at our academies in Central and East Coast region and successfully conducted 3D Design and Excel workshop 🤩

✅ Organized February PAJSK program, GAME MAKING CHALLENGE -' WORLD OF ROBOTIC' & received 480+ registered participations from students around Malaysia 😱

Below are the key highlights for February 2025:-

1️⃣ JAZRO APPRECIATION DAY

Jazro recently organized an Appreciation Day to honour and celebrate the dedication and hard work of its staff. The event was a way to acknowledge their contributions to growing Jazro into this current organisation. Held at Genting Highlands, the day provided a much-needed break from work, allowing employees to relax, enjoy, and strengthen their bonds with one another. Since many staff members come from different branches, this event was a rare opportunity for us to connect and spend quality time together. The day kicked off with a visit to Genting Skyworld Theme Park, where everyone had a fantastic time enjoying thrilling rides and fun attractions.

As the day transitioned into the evening, the celebrations continued at Ten Tent restaurant. The team gathered for a delightful dinner, which also included a special birthday celebration for employees born in Quarter 3 of 2024 and Quarter 1 of 2025. A highlight of the evening was the frame-giving ceremony, where staff members who had achieved permanent employment status were recognized and celebrated. This was followed by an award session led by Ir. Dzulfarqeish, where selected employees received new assets to support their work, further reinforcing Jazro’s commitment to valuing and empowering its staff.

The event concluded with a lively Secret Santa gift exchange, adding an element of surprise and excitement to the night. The atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter as employees unwrapped their gifts, making it a memorable moment for everyone. By the end of the event, it was clear that the Appreciation Day had successfully strengthened team spirit and reaffirmed the company’s gratitude toward its employees. We hope that this celebration not only serves as a token of appreciation but also motivates employees to continue striving for excellence, contributing to the company's growth and success in the future.

2️⃣ TRAINING OF TRAINER (ToT) JAZROBOT

Jazro proudly introduced Jazrobot, our robot designed by the in-house team, marking a significant milestone in the company's journey toward robotic innovation. Jazrobot will be utilized in various classes, programs, and competitions, to prove our commitment to advancing robotics education. To ensure a smooth integration, a Training of Trainers (ToT) session was conducted, where robotic tutors were trained on the features and functions of Jazrobot.

A total of 10 robotic tutors participated in the full-day training session led by the Product Innovation team. The session provided in-depth knowledge about Jazrobot’s capabilities, coding complexities, and handling techniques. Tutors were thrilled to explore the different versions of the robot, each designed with varying difficulty levels to cater to different learning stages. This hands-on experience equipped them with the expertise needed to teach and guide students effectively when using Jazrobot in future sessions.

Jazrobot is set to make its first official appearance in May as part of the preparation for upcoming classes and the highly anticipated Jazro Cup competition in July. This launch signifies an exciting step forward in our mission to inspire young minds through robotics and coding. With this innovation, we aim to establish itself as a pioneer in the robotics industry in Malaysia, encouraging more individuals to delve into the field and explore the endless possibilities of robotic technology.

3️⃣ BACK-TO-SCHOOL NURI BONANZA BANK RAKYAT

Jazro was honoured to be one of the exhibitors at the Back-to-School Nuri Bonanza Carnival, organized by Bank Rakyat at Tun Abdul Razak Hall, Bank Rakyat Twin Tower. The event brought together 30 exhibitors and collaborators, all focused on providing valuable opportunities and resources for students and parents. With a strong emphasis on education and extracurricular activities, the carnival was a platform to introduce innovative learning experiences to the community.

Our booth attracted many visitors, with parents and students showing great interest in robotics and coding classes. The interest from parents showed an increasing awareness of the importance of robotics education in today’s digital age. Many parents were eager to explore how our programs could complement their children’s learning and future career opportunities. On the other hand, students were excited about the hands-on learning experiences that robotics and coding offer.

To encourage participation, we offered a special discount for those who registered for trial classes on the spot, giving students a chance to experience the fun and interactive learning environment firsthand. The carnival was a lively and successful event, fostering curiosity and enthusiasm for robotics and coding among attendees. We hope that events like this will continue to inspire more students and parents to embrace technology-driven education and prepare for a future where digital literacy plays a crucial role.

4️⃣ RISE & REACH: VARSITY COMMUNITY DAY 2025

Jazro was proud to be a strategic partner for UCMI’s Rise & Reach: Varsity Community Day 2025, a mega community event organized by UCMI students from the Early Childhood course. Held at UCMI Batu Muda Campus in Batu Caves, the event attracted numerous visitors from across Kuala Lumpur. With a strong focus on early childhood education, the event targeted parents who prioritize quality learning experiences for their young children, emphasizing the importance of foundational education at an early stage.

As one of the exhibitors, Jazro provided a fun hands-on robotics experience for kindergarten children. The young participants eagerly explored and played with robots, including the mBot, under the guidance of our team. The session not only introduced children to robotics in a fun and engaging way but also allowed parents to experience firsthand how technology can be a valuable learning tool. Many parents expressed excitement about enrolling their children in Jazro’s robotics programs once they reach primary school, recognizing the benefits of early exposure to STEM education.

The event successfully highlighted the importance of robotics and coding education from an early age, encouraging both parents and educators to consider these skills as essential for the future. By nurturing young minds through interactive learning, we aim to contribute to developing children's cognitive and motor skills, preparing them to thrive in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. Through partnerships and events like this, we are committed to promoting digital literacy and inspiring the next generation of innovators.
